What Is A Liquid Butt Lift?

A Liquid Butt Lift for hip dips and volume is a non-surgical injectable treatment designed to enhance shape, improve symmetry, and add soft, natural-looking fullness—without implants or surgery. Using biostimlulators such as Radiesse® (calcium hydroxylapatite) and/or hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, we can strategically add volume to the “hip dip” area (the indentation along the outer hip) and other contour points to create a smoother, more rounded silhouette.

Your appointment starts with a detailed assessment of your anatomy, skin quality, and goals. From there, we map out where filler will make the biggest difference—often focusing on the lateral hip/upper outer buttock to soften hip dips, plus select areas to support overall volume and balance. Radiesse® offers immediate volume and can also stimulate collagen over time, while HA fillers provide flexible, moldable volume that can be adjusted to your desired look. Many clients prefer a gradual build, so your plan may be staged over more than one session for the most natural result.

This treatment may help with:

  • Softening the appearance of hip dips
  • Adding volume and improving overall buttock contour
  • Enhancing symmetry and proportion
  • Creating a smoother transition from waist to hip to thigh

What to expect:

  • Numbing options for comfort; treatment time varies by plan
  • Temporary swelling, tenderness, and possible bruising
  • Results are visible immediately, with refinement as swelling settles
  • Minimal downtime, with specific aftercare and activity guidance to protect your results

Important note on safety & expectations: A Liquid Butt Lift is not the same as a surgical Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and results are typically subtle to moderate.

FAQs

1) Am I a good candidate for a Liquid Butt Lift (hip dips + volume)?

You may be a good candidate if you want to soften hip dips, improve symmetry, and add subtle-to-moderate volume without surgery. It’s ideal for clients who want targeted contouring and a smoother silhouette. During your consultation, we’ll assess your anatomy, skin quality, and goals to confirm whether filler is an appropriate option and what kind of result is realistic for you.

2) How is this different from a surgical BBL?

A Liquid Butt Lift is not surgery—there are no implants and no fat transfer. Results are typically subtle to moderate and best for contouring (like hip dips) and adding targeted volume. A surgical BBL can create more dramatic size changes, but it also comes with higher downtime and surgical risks.

3) What will my appointment be like, and does it hurt?

We start with an assessment and mapping to plan your shape goals and prioritize safety. Numbing options are used for comfort. Most clients describe pressure and mild discomfort rather than sharp pain, but sensation varies depending on the areas treated and your personal sensitivity.

4) What is the downtime and aftercare?

Downtime is usually minimal, but you should expect temporary swelling, tenderness, and possible bruising. We’ll give you specific aftercare instructions, which may include avoiding intense lower-body workouts and pressure on the treated area for a period of time to help protect your results.

5) How long do results last, and will I need more than one session?

You’ll see immediate improvement, with final results becoming clearer as swelling settles. Longevity varies based on the product used, your metabolism, and how much volume is placed - on average results will last about 2 years. Many clients benefit from a staged approach (more than one session) to build volume gradually and keep results looking natural and balanced.
